Terms of Service

PromptStock ("PromptStock", "we", "us") provides a service that rewrites rough coding prompts into structured prompts for AI coding tools. These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and PromptStock.

By creating an account, or by using the service without one, you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.

If you are using PromptStock on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these terms.

PromptStock takes a prompt you supply and returns a restructured version of it, produced with the help of third-party large language models. The service is provided on an as-is basis and its output is generated automatically.

You are responsible for reviewing any output before you rely on it. We do not warrant that output is accurate, complete, secure, or fit for any particular purpose, and you should not treat it as professional advice of any kind.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service. Where a change materially reduces functionality on a paid plan, we will give reasonable notice.

Using PromptStock requires an account. Register with an email address and password, or through Google or GitHub. A free account carries a daily enhancement limit; paid plans raise or remove it.

You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to hold an account.

You agree not to use PromptStock to:

• break any applicable law, or infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
• generate prompts intended to produce malware, credential-harvesting tools, or other material designed to cause harm;
• submit personal data belonging to other people without a lawful basis for doing so;
• probe, scan, overload, or otherwise interfere with the service or the infrastructure it runs on;
• circumvent quotas, rate limits, or access controls, including by registering multiple accounts to obtain additional free usage;
• resell, sublicense, or expose the service as a competing API without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, and where usage threatens the stability or cost of the service we may act without prior notice.

The prompts you submit and the enhanced output you receive are your content. As between you and us, you keep all rights in them.

You grant us a limited licence to process, transmit, store, and display your content strictly for the purpose of operating the service for you — producing enhancements, showing your history, and providing support. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account.

We do not use your prompts to train any model. Our handling of your content is described in full in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having the rights to any content you submit, and for ensuring that submitting it does not breach an obligation you owe to someone else — including any employer or client confidentiality obligation.

PromptStock offers a free plan with a daily usage quota and one or more paid plans with higher limits. Current prices and quotas are shown on the pricing page.

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment providers. Customers in India are billed through Razorpay, including UPI Autopay mandates; customers elsewhere are billed through a merchant of record, which acts as the seller for that transaction. We do not store your card or bank details.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then.

Except where a refund is required by law, fees already paid are non-refundable. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at drackoxyz69@gmail.com and we will look into it.

We may change our prices. Changes will not affect a billing period you have already paid for, and we will give notice before a change takes effect for your subscription.

All plans, including paid plans, are subject to fair use. Quotas exist because each enhancement costs us money at a third-party model provider.

If your usage is materially out of line with normal individual use, or is automated in a way the plan does not contemplate, we may contact you to agree on suitable terms, apply rate limits, or suspend access.

You may optionally supply your own API key for a supported model provider, so that your enhancements run on your account with that provider rather than ours. Using this feature is entirely your choice.

By supplying a key you confirm that it is yours to use, that providing it to us does not breach your agreement with that provider or anyone else, and that you are entitled to authorise us to use it for your requests.

Charges are yours. Enhancements made with your key are billed to you by that provider, at their rates. We have no visibility of, and no responsibility for, what they charge you. We do not reimburse provider charges, including charges arising from your own repeated or automated use.

We store the key encrypted and use it only to authenticate your own requests, as described in the Privacy Policy. You can remove it at any time in settings.

Removing a key here does not revoke it at the provider. If you think a key has been exposed, revoke it in the provider's dashboard — that is the only step that actually invalidates it. Where a provider offers scoped or spend-capped keys, we recommend using one.

Supplying a key does not remove the acceptable-use and rate-limit terms above. It exempts your usage from our daily quota, because the cost is no longer ours, but not from our limits on abusive or automated use.

We may stop honouring a stored key without notice if it appears compromised, if the provider rejects it, or if its use breaches these terms.

PromptStock depends on third parties, including large language model providers, hosting and database providers, and payment providers. Their availability and behaviour are outside our control.

Where you sign in with Google or GitHub, your use of those services is governed by their own terms. Where you supply your own model provider API key, your use of that provider is governed by your agreement with them.

We aim to keep PromptStock available and working well, but we do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service. Maintenance, provider outages, and factors outside our control can all cause downtime.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PromptStock will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising from your use of the service.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or INR 5,000.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You can stop using PromptStock at any time and delete your account from your account settings. Deleting your account removes your prompts and history in line with the Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, if we are required to by law, or if continuing to provide the service to you would expose us to liability or unsustainable cost. Where practical, we will tell you why.

Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including your content licence grant for material we still lawfully hold, limitation of liability, and governing law — survive.

These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service, and you consent to that jurisdiction and venue.

Before starting formal proceedings, we ask that you contact us at drackoxyz69@gmail.com so we can try to resolve the matter directly.

We may update these terms as the service develops or the law changes. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised.

For material changes we will give notice through the service or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use PromptStock after a change takes effect means you accept the revised terms.
